Rusted Creek. Rustic Chic.
About the Artists
My beautiful wife, Amy, and I started making furniture and display cabinets earlier this year. It is really starting to catch on now. We were focusing primarily on jewelry displays for our first several months. We have had the pleasure of dealing with many wonderful, creative-minded people who have suggested other ideas for projects as well. I am now making VERY rustic tables, and I am working on a chalkboard and a headboard as well. I'm looking forward to finishing them and posting them up on the "Showroom" page.
Amy is a textile designer, and she is also amazing with color, and with everything else as well. She has been making warm charms with clay, and clay Christmas ornaments too. Take a look.
I have been a clay sculptor for 20 years. Either my skills diminished sharply over the past 4 years, or the soured economy has kept buyers from purchasing my more expensive work like they used to. I am trying to convince myself that it is the latter. It was just recently that I started playing with wood. It's very different than what I am used to. It's really immediate. No firing. No glazing. It is also strange to have an inherently beautiful medium, as opposed to a lump of mud that starts you at zero. Clay is still my thing, for sure. I'll never be a master carpenter, however, I am finding that I can create very artful, solid, simple, useful pieces from wood. It is fun, too. Amy and I share the dream of being able to work together from home. We hope that Rusted Creek furniture allows us to realize that dream. We offer artistic, functional pieces at the absolute lowest prices that we can. We offer very personal service, and try to make everyone feel delighted that they chose us to spend their hard-earned money with. If service, value, and an exceptional product don't allow us to make it...I suppose that it was just a really bad idea. Cross your fingers.
We want you to be amazed and thrilled when you unpack your Rusted Creek creation. We want you to be in disbelief that you purchased your piece for less than $100. That is our goal and our business plan.
Thanks again for all of your business thus far.
